Here is a thing! Author Pat Rothfuss is doing a Worldbuilders auction benefiting Heifer, which helps get livestock to impoverished farm families worldwide. Pat's a fan of webcomics and has pulled together some of them for his cause, including this one (Wonderella)! Be sure to check out his offerings to bid or contribute.

The U.S. Congress has decided to address the complicated issue of internet piracy in the manner a chainsaw addresses rosethorns. As several million other websites have already noted, The Senate's "Protect IP Act" and House's "Stop Online Piracy Act" would censor or shut down entire swaths of the internet under vague terms that undermine First Amendment rights.
