DEATHWATCH

Some time ago I made a comic starring Jack Valenti, only to find out he'd just died a few days earlier. Since then I've been fairly vigilant about checking the status of certain individuals who - shall we say - may be on page two of the obituaries. I'm proud to announce that all celebrities noted in this comic are still alive.

When we first met The Quizzicle, a number of astute readers noted a major logistical problem on his henchman's design. By putting two adjacent green squares on the corner of his Rubix Cube helmet, I made it literally unsolveable. I've updated it on the new one, but I'm leaving this page in the archive as a humble reminder of my inability to do even the simplest thing correctly.

The Harrowing of Hell is a great scene not only because it gave Jesus something to do between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but it was also the one time he seriously got to kick ass and rescue people like in Delta Force. My favorite Easter story was that time he was rescuing Mary Magdalene and they got stuck in the trash compactor and would have died if not for the droids.
