Sincere apologies for the shambling scribbled mess that is the first 85% of today's comic. It's been years since I drew a proper comic like a normal person, let alone one full of hand gestures and foreshortening. Truly I am the perfect fool.
Green Lantern is my least favorite of DC's big guns, but I respect that they tried to make a film. The challenge with GL is he's sorta like Superman and sorta like a space cop, and it's hard to make those two things work together in a palatable way.
However, there was a time when Green Lantern took road trips with Green Arrow, eating pies and arm-wrestling bikers. If they made a movie out of that, I would see it so many times it would kick-start the economy.
The U.S. Congress has decided to address the complicated issue of internet piracy in the manner a chainsaw addresses rosethorns. As several million other websites have already noted, The Senate's "Protect IP Act" and House's "Stop Online Piracy Act" would censor or shut down entire swaths of the internet under vague terms that undermine First Amendment rights.
