Connecting the Bots

Since I use continuity the way most people use those tabs on top of soda cups, I should note how today's comic actually refers to this old thing from back in the day. In addition, Wonderella picked up her goony robot suit in this comic. All of today's robots are based on real appliances, most of them far too expensive for me to own.

Today's comic stems from my general disappointment in Yoda's lightsaber battles during the Star Wars prequels. Built up for 20 years as the ultimate Jedi warrior, Yoda seemed above weaponry, able to take out whole armies just by squinting really hard at them. I stand by my revisionist history, as geeks are wont to do.

The Mad Spoiler

I decided not to call him simply "The Spoiler" out of respect for the readers and lawyers of Batman character Stephanie Brown. Besides, a Mad Spoiler, whose deranged mind thrives on the perverse fascination of ruining things, would fit right in with The Tick's rogues gallery, or at least Domino's Pizza's.

This is as apt a time as any to announce I'll be at the Chicago Wizard World Convention, this August 11-14. I will support any event that potentially features Billy Corgan, Patrick Stewart and Louis Gossett Jr. talking about head wax in an elevator. More details as I know them.
